Eric David The effective fusion of the illustration and photography disciplines worked out so well in narrating the deeper meanings of the stories behind the artworks.
My artwork is about storytelling. Narratives are compiled using original photography, illustration, textures and light. Work generally reflects what I see, how I interpret the world. Subject matter are fragments of the real and unreal, constructed as a running commentary of current events. This work has come out of lockdown during COVID and my isolation has produced a stream of consciousness that is constantly interpreting events in the outer world. The focus is women; the soothsayers, mystics, and amazons. Flesh and blood and every one a goddess.
