Through my work in the hospital system during most of the Covid-19 pandemic, I witnessed the selfless and courageous actions of countless doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Seeing these essential workers giving their all on a daily basis deeply affected me on an emotional level. The “Faces of Resilience” project was meant to give them a voice and to be remembered. For me, they represent courage, unity, and pure compassion for others. We can all learn so much from each and everyone of them.
