Louisa J. Curtis We have seen a lot of Covid images this year, but this piece moved me so strongly I found myself crying almost right away. Nothing else I had seen gave me such a visceral reaction. Images are there to move us, emotionally, and this beautifully crafted tribute certainly did not fail to deliver.
COVID-19 is affecting our entire world and we would be lost without those essential workers on the front lines. Everyday life in countries everywhere has been brought to an abrupt halt. All of us have felt economic and personal cost but much of the burden is falling on those least equipped to carry it. This piece is my salute to those dedicated heroes who have sacrificed the most to insure we carry on a decent and caring people. As a community we must support and express gratitude to those doing the most for the public good- going out day after day in service to others.
