Deciding where we call home is one of the most important decisions we make. In Norway, rekkehus (linked houses) are the second-most built forms of housing. They come in rows and in all shapes and sizes all across the country - providing a look into the world of Norwegian individualism. These houses allow people to build an individual home without sticking out like a sore thumb. Could the popularity of these homes be a byproduct of the "Law of Jante"? It characterizes not conforming, doing things out of the ordinary, or being overtly personally ambitious as unworthy and inappropriate.
