There's something about this series' bright colors juxtaposed against moments of quiet in public spaces that captures both the chaos and loneliness of COVID's effects on our daily lives. Strong edit as a series, conveying a great story and sense of place, but each image is its own intriguing moment as well. Excellent work.
The discovery of the Covid-19 novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 caused the people in neighbouring Hong Kong to immediately take precautions against it. Having survived the threat of SARS and Avian Flu, Hong Kongers went about their daily lives well prepared to face this new and faceless threat - by adapting to wearing face masks and carrying on with daily life, as best they could.
