Series of photographs of Al Wathba sand formations in the desert of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. These fossil dunes have been shaped by mother nature by a process called Lithification (sedimentary deposits compact under pressure and gradually become solid rocks) and Cross-bedding (sedimentary deposits are affected by wind or water).
