This work was an unexpected gift from Covid-safe connected isolation last winter. I spent most of lockdown in my third floor apartment, about 100 metres from a major teaching hospital where my two children were born.

The people who passed beneath my balcony were mostly walking to and from the hospital. They were usually staff or hospital visitors. Occasionally, there was also a patient like this person. The choreography of everyday life from my balcony view.
