A celebration of a sunflower past its prime, the glory of aging, and the exquisiteness of imperfection. This series is a reminder of the beauty often unnoticed, dismissed, and overlooked. Latin name draws a parallel between a “dead” flower and a “dead” language which underwent a transformation and became the embodiment of an ideal.
