It is the snow-covered Alps that have made Switzerland famous as a tourist destination. The winter coat makes mountains glow white, powdered sugar-like snow covers the rugged mountains like cotton wool and invites winter sports enthusiasts to make their tracks. Even if we can still limit global warming to 2°C, a third of Swiss ski resorts will lose their winter coat, especially those at low altitudes. Snow sports will concentrate on those few areas that reach high altitudes. The project examines the landscape with discreet references to winter sports supplemented with "portraits" of towers.
