Susan Spiritus Simple and elegant!!
During the months of the pandemic, my garden became the source for my photography.The collection and the selection of the flowers represent various seasons. I have created groups of flowers in front of a black background where every flower stands next to the other like autonomous individuals waiting for a group portrait and not only as flowers. The attitude of every flower in combination with the feeling of cooperation between them, like people in front of the camera. I hope the story speaks about the need for companionship and physical connection we all have missed during the lockdown.
