On January 12th, 2010, the earth was shaken violently in Haiti, by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. It is estimated that 200,000 residents are dead and hundreds of thousands are left homeless. During the first 20 days, violence dominated in the city of Port -au -Prince in the form of mugging, looting and vandalism.
