The solar term is a traditional Chinese measurement of the 24 seasons and climates. On November 30, 2016, China’s “24 Solar Terms” were officially included in the UNESCO Representative List. As a result of that, I managed to compose a series of pictures that build up a connection with the Solar Term calendar. It is also the only photographic work in China that uses the characters to depict the 24 solar terms.There are 24 photos in my 24 solar terms photography series. For the competition, I am submitting 10 of them.
