Featherstone Street is a series of portraits of the people who have helped me through the years in my photographic career. At the end of 2019, the building opposite my studio was demolished and the space was flooded with natural light. This light transformed my workspace and opened up a whole new avenue of possibility. Using only natural daylight and a large format camera, and shooting on 8x10 film, I started to photograph formally posed portraits. For this I approached people who through various collaborations and creative involvements, had become well known to me over the past five decades.
