The region of Mustang in Nepal is considered a small Tibet due to its culture and religion, enclosed as in a treasure chest between the borders with Tibet. In recent years several factors are causing it to experience radical changes. Its territory, where saints and explorers, merchants and pilgrims have traveled for millenia, is threatened, first of all, by advancing desertification, that force inhabitants to internal migration. This photographic project, the documentary book, still in draft, is created to make this story visible and to ensure that it does not escape the attention of the most.
