Every day in Pipa, Brazil thousands of umbrellas and plastic chairs are spread across the beach to accommodate the influx of tourists. At the end of the day everybody leaves, and all that remains are heaps of chairs and umbrellas. Under this mountain of detritus, the beach that has presumably attracted all the visitors is barely visible.
