The base image was taken with Canon 20D, canon lenses 17-85 at 28mm, f/4.5, 1/3200s and an ISO 100. At the Iguazu Waterfalls in The Devil's Throat. My work on this particular piece has to do with the creation of realities that are not available to the human eye by themselves, but rather with the eye of imagination. The geometry of spaces, the magnificence of a stunning event translated to a work of artistic surrealism in the INVERTED Devil's Throat. Color toning has been added to punctualize the strength of the lines, accentuating the perspective, creating a new value on my mythical idealism. I have painted my landscape to add the dramatic element in a way that the subconscious cannot fail to comprehend, it goes back to the phenomenological influence that some images produce on the viewer and how the "residual" memory after this action is transformed: the trigger effect.
