Tom Voss, 84 Emeritus Professor, was a prominent Paediatric Anaesthetist, worked with many great doctors including Dr Christiaan Barnard the pioneer heart surgeon. Born in South Africa he migrated to Australia in 1974 and worked long hours until he was 79. Inside his modest home the room is full of history and each items has a story to tell. The walls are wrapped with books and for many year he enjoyed photography from nature to his family. Now a widower he fills the house with music practicing the Mandolin regularly as he his in an orchestra. His faithful companions are "Cat" and the mandolin that was given to him by his father when he was a young boy.
