Immigration policies and reception procedures really aren't the best of Italy. In the pictures in attachment, you can find a great example of how Italians are not what the world usually thinks about Italy: the Eritrean refugees that was in Bari find a place where start again their life with the support of a group of young italians: they squatted an old school, the Socrate, giving new life to the place and themselves. Now everyone calls this place home.
