Entry Description

Styled , set up and professionally lit in a studio, I have combined fashion photography with self portraits in this series. When seeing a fashion photograph, the first question I ask myself is that how much of the beauty of the piece is because the models are naturally considered attractive. In other words "is the picture beautiful because the main subject is a beauty or is it a nice image because of the creativity and techniques of the photographer" Here I am challenging myself as the photographer to capture visually attractive photographs, not because the main subject is a professional model but because of other factors of aesthetics. As a professional designer working in advertising, I believe there should be new values added to marketing side of the creative world.
