In my recent work I have been distilling images that are deeply meaningful to me down into the beauty of the collective line. Lines are powerfully expressive, and in combination with thematic light and color lines can express in a different visual language than words can. In this case, I have been exploring my strong emotional connection to the serene warmth and protection of my childhood bathroom, perhaps even something maternal. By using repetition, each image has taken on its own life, and individual character separate from a photograph of a red heat lamp that colors a towel in my bathroom. Each image in the "Untitled" (Towels) abstractions section of my portfolio has been made into a Quadriptyc.

Story

Self reflective abstractions. As I see it, is how I shoot it, and how it gets printed.
