I had been thinking about this project for a long time before I started it. I wanted the impact to be more direct than a standard framed photo. Besides getting models, which were not easy to find, I also wanted the images to be 4 feet by 7 ½ feet tall, life size, whole body and unclothed**. I wanted people to stop, look into the heart of the subject and see a life lived.
