Angela a professional dancer, a single mum and now a breast cancer survivor had a very rare type of breast cancer where only 3% of patients survive. During her ordeal the only solace and compassion came from Saffron her beautiful 9 year daughter. The connection and bond between mother and daughter grew stronger throughout the long periods of hospitalization and recovery at home. We decide to use the actual gown worn during Angela's treatments and the purple gloves are a bitter sweet reminder of her victory over the cancer. In Australia 38 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. We urge women to seek early detection.
