A series of images taken in The United Arab Emirates. This is a city constructed in the desert on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi that was an unpopular residential development. It is not linked to the National Grid and uses oil generators to power the buildings. This creates a constant hum in the background and sparse use of street lighting.
