This project started by a collaboration with the French charity 'Kinesitherapeutes du Monde'. They send volunteers to teach locals, techniques on how to construct prostheses in some very challenging environments in third world countries. Those prostheses are made out of various recycling material found locally. The project's goal is to help people to understand the difficulty of being handicapped in poor countries. Also to show that the prostheses do not need to be perfect looking as long as it is functional. This project has been published in the British Journal of Photography.
