With more consistent snowfall than any other region in the continental US and towering volcanos, the Pacific Northwest stands as an environmental anomaly. To the intrepid ski mountaineer, these unique traits present the possibility to ski in Washington State each of the 12 months of the year. Last season, I managed to do just that and immortalized the experience with a series of 12 fine-art photographs, one for each month. Utilizing locations from the local mountain pass to the top of Mount Rainier, this exploration deeply enriched my love for the sport and environments that most inspire my creativity.
