Human beings, all made from the same material yet so complicated and different in a very unique way.
Human beings, all made from the same material yet so complicated and different in a very unique way. From the day we are born we struggle to satisfy our inner needs for acceptance, dignity, security, survival, while society, family and other organized social structures form us, mould us, shape us, often through violent processes, which may clash with our inner reality. We learn to suppress our existence in favor of a society that doesn’t actually serve people as it should. On the contrary, we become confused, without any consciousness of who we really are, what we really need, what is right or wrong, what would make us happy. The result… neurotic people, eager to hate, ready to exploit, hungry for power… A huge vacuum filled with intolerance, greed, depression and sadness. Acting as a small societal god, I forced my threads to become what I wanted. I changed their shape, suppressed them, made them look as I wished. I decided which the right side to show was and left everything else in fuzzy darkness. I made my threads believe what I believe. The change will come from the individual. I hope one day my threads will defy me, introspect and achieve fulfillment, opening the way for a deep social recreation, a descent place for us all to live in.
