This portrait was created by pairing the Asus Xtion Pro depth sensor to the Canon 5D MK II using the RGBDToolkit for the music video 'Tokyo' by Exist Elsewhere. To achieve this digital effect, we used a depth sensor (similar to the Microsoft Kinect) to motion capture our subject Alexandra. Once the data from the depth sensor is received, we then used the RGBDToolkit to overlay the images from the Canon 5D MK II over the 3D data, which then maps out color and texture.
