I work in the domain of documentary photography but draw from the idea of the magical as if this is the place of potential images. In the magical consciousness, I believe, the world acquires a scenic character where the line between defined and diffused grows surprisingly close and the proverbial information-value of a document is less than obvious. The documentary nature of my photography is not used to reproduce what I see but rather to see what I document.
