These images were taken during the Tour du Faso, Africa's premier professional road cycle race held since 1987 in Burkina Faso. Teams from seven African nations and three European countries took part in the event over 1290km and ten days. The images show three of the riders, including the eventual winner, Guy Smet from Belgium wearing the yellow jersey, resting before the start on three of the ten days of racing.
