My project aims to depict the economic and social changes currently taking place in the Sub- Saharan countries, through the wedding industry. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of witnessing a variety of diverse celebrations in several African countries under various circumstances. My findings remain the same; No matter the social class, the ethnicity, or the religion, weddings are merely a mirror of the societies within the sub-continent.
